Посмотрел тут британский микро-сериальчик (см предыдущий пост) и вдруг подумалось...
Погуглите "african american",а потом "african british". Интересное сравнение вырисовывается. 

Похоже, что в британском новоязе такого устойчивого словосочетания нет.
